HOW TO STAY FIT OVER CHRISTMAS

Category : Fitness | Written by : Iris Pohl

The holiday season is upon us, and this means: too much food and no time to hit the gym. Between cookies and Christmas parties, it can be pretty tough to stay fit. Here’s the solution: interval training! This super-effective, fat-burning workout can be done anywhere and will help you to beat the Christmas bulge.

Christmas might well be the most magical time of the year, but it’s also a time of feasting. From now until New Year’s Eve, your schedule will probably be filled with Christmas parties, family celebrations, cookies and all sorts of treats. And that’s totally OK. But even fitness-addicts can find it difficult to stick to their workout routines. The gym is closed, or the hours are cut short. Therefore, it’s no surprise that many of us are gaining weight during winter season. This year it can be different.

The following bodyweight exercises are super-effective and can be done at home, at a hotel room or anywhere else, so you don’t have to leave the house during the cold winter months. Perform 12-15 reps and 2-3 sets per exercise or do as many rounds as possible.

Are you ready?

Then let’s burn off the cookies!
